ARM i.MX dts: Consistently add labels to devicenodes
Having labels before each node allows board bindings to reference
to nodes by using the &nodename {} notation. This way boards do not
have to resemble the whole devicetree layout. Due to less indention
needed the board files also get better readability. Since the label
make the documentation behind the nodes unnecessary it is removed.

ARM: imx6q: let users input debug uart port number
imx6q gets 5 uart ports in total. Different board design may choose
different port as debug uart. For example, imx6q-sabresd uses UART1,
imx6q-sabrelite uses UART2 and imx6q-arm2 uses UART4. Rather than
bloating DEBUG_LL choice list with all these uart ports, the patch
introduces DEBUG_IMX6Q_UART_PORT for users to input uart port number
when DEBUG_IMX6Q_UART is selected inside DEBUG_LL choice.
Since commit 8fe4554f (leds: leds-gpio: adopt pinctrl support) gpio-led driver
has pinctrl support, so setup the gpio led pin via pinctrl and avoid the
following warning:
leds-gpio leds.2: pins are not configured from the driver
ARM i.MX dtsi: Add default bus-width property for esdhc controller
According to Documentation/devicetree/bindings/mmc/mmc.txt bus-width
is a mandatory property. While this is currently enforced nowhere, it's
a good habit to just add the property now to allow to add common helper
functionality for the mmc property parsing later.

clk: Add support for fundamental zynq clks
Provide simplified models for the necessary clocks on the zynq-7000
platform. Currently, the PLLs, the CPU clock network, and the basic
peripheral clock networks (for SDIO, SMC, SPI, QSPI, UART) are modelled.
OF bindings are also provided and documented.

ARM: zynq: dts: split up device tree
The purpose of the created zynq-7000.dtsi file is to describe the
hardware common to all Zynq 7000-based boards. Also, get rid of the
zynq-ep107 device tree, since it is not hardware anyone can purchase.
Add a zc702 dts file based on the zynq-7000.dtsi. Add it to the
dts/Makefile so it is built with the 'dtbs' target.

ARM i.MX25: Add missing clock gates
This completes the list of clock gates on the i.MX25. There are
several clocks marked as reserved in the datasheet, but nevertheless
used in the Freescale kernel. Add some comments to their positions
and add 'reservedx' entries to the clk enum. This way we can replace
them with the real names should we need them later. Adding the reserved
entry names will help us keeping the clk numbers when moving to devicetree.
Setup scheduler clock on ARM MXS platforms with a 32-bit timrot
such as i.MX28. This allows the scheduler to use sub-jiffy resolution.
The corresponding change for 16-bit v1 timrots is not possible
at the moment due to rounding issues with clock values wrapping
faster than once per several seconds in the common ARM platform code.

8) When the QFQ packet scheduler sees TSO/GSO packets it does not
handle things properly, and in fact ends up corrupting it's
datastructures as well as mis-schedule packets. Fix from Paolo

9) Fix oopser in skb_loop_sk(), from Eric Leblond.
10) CXGB4 passes partially uninitialized datastructures in to FW
commands, fix from Vipul Pandya.
11) When we send unsolicited ipv6 neighbour advertisements, we should
send them to the link-local allnodes multicast address, as per
RFC4861. Fix from Hannes Frederic Sowa.
12) There is some kind of bug in the usbnet's kevent deferral
mechanism, but more immediately when it triggers an uncontrolled
stream of kernel messages spam the log. Rate limit the error log
message triggered when this problem occurs, as sending thousands
of error messages into the kernel log doesn't help matters at all,
and in fact makes further diagnosis more difficult.

sparc64: Fix build with mix of modular vs. non-modular crypto drivers.
We tried linking in a single built object to hold the device table,
but only works if all of the sparc64 crypto modules get built the same
way (modular vs. non-modular).
Just include the device ID stub into each driver source file so that
the table gets compiled into the correct result in all cases.

of/address: sparc: Declare of_address_to_resource() as an extern function for sparc again
This bug-fix makes sure that of_address_to_resource is defined extern for sparc
so that the sparc-specific implementation of of_address_to_resource() is once
again used when including include/linux/of_address.h in a sparc context. A
number of drivers in mainline relies on this function working for sparc.
The bug was introduced in a850a7554442f08d3e910c6eeb4ee216868dda1e, "of/address:
add empty static inlines for !CONFIG_OF". Contrary to that commit title, the
static inlines are added for !CONFIG_OF_ADDRESS, and CONFIG_OF_ADDRESS is never
defined for sparc. This is good behavior for the other functions in
include/linux/of_address.h, as the extern functions defined in
drivers/of/address.c only gets linked when OF_ADDRESS is configured. However,
for of_address_to_resource there exists a sparc-specific implementation in
arch/sparc/arch/sparc/kernel/of_device_common.c

If an irq is being unlinked concurrently with leon_handle_ext_irq,
irq_map[eirq] might be null in leon_handle_ext_irq. Make sure that
this is not dereferenced.

sparc: Add sparc support for platform_get_irq()
This adds sparc support for platform_get_irq that in the normal case use
platform_get_resource() to get an irq. This standard approach fails for sparc as
there are no resources of type IORESOURCE_IRQ for irqs for sparc.
Cross platform drivers can then use this standard platform function and work on
sparc instead of having to have a special case for sparc.

Second set of OMAP PRCM cleanups for 3.8.
These patches remove the use of omap_prcm_get_reset_sources() from the
OMAP watchdog driver, and remove mach-omap2/prcm.c and
plat-omap/include/plat/prcm.h.
However, cleanup-prcm at 7fc54fd3 does not include some fixes
that are needed for a successful test. With several reverts,
fixes, and workarounds applied, the following test logs were
obtained:
This second pull request updates one of the patches which broke
with rmk's allnoconfigs, and also updates the tag description to
indicate that 7fc54fd3 is building cleanly here.

gianfar: ethernet vanishes after restoring from hibernation
If a gianfar ethernet device is down prior to hibernating a
system, it will no longer be present upon system restore.
For example:
~# ifconfig eth0 down
~# echo disk > /sys/power/state
<trigger a restore from hibernation>
~# ifconfig eth0 up
SIOCSIFFLAGS: No such device
This happens because the restore function bails out early upon
finding devices that were not up at hibernation. In doing so,
it never gets to the netif_device_attach call at the end of
the restore function. Adding the netif_device_attach as done
here also makes the gfar_restore code consistent with what is
done in the gfar_resume code.

usbnet: ratelimit kevent may have been dropped warnings
when something goes wrong, a flood of these messages can be
generated by usbnet (thousands per second). This doesn't
generally *help* the condition so this patch ratelimits the
rate of their generation.
There's an underlying problem in usbnet's kevent deferral
mechanism which needs fixing, specifically that events *can*
get dropped and not handled. This patch doesn't address this,
but just mitigates fallout caused by the current implemention.

As documented in RFC4861 (Neighbor Discovery for IP version 6) 7.2.6.,
unsolicited neighbour advertisements should be sent to the all-nodes
multicast address.

mm: bugfix: set current->reclaim_state to NULL while returning from kswapd()
In kswapd(), set current->reclaim_state to NULL before returning, as
current->reclaim_state holds reference to variable on kswapd()'s stack.
In rare cases, while returning from kswapd() during memory offlining,
__free_slab() and freepages() can access the dangling pointer of
current->reclaim_state.
but never applied it. Repeated attempts over time to actually get him
to apply it have never had a reply from anyone who has raised it
So apply it anyway

virtio: Don't access index after unregister.
Virtio wants to release used indices after the corresponding
virtio device has been unregistered. However, virtio does not
hold an extra reference, giving up its last reference with
device_unregister(), making accessing dev->index afterwards
invalid.
I actually saw problems when testing my (not-yet-merged)
virtio-ccw code:
- device_add virtio-net,id=xxx
-> creates device virtio<n> with n>0
- device_del xxx
-> deletes virtio<n>, but calls ida_simple_remove with an
index of 0
- device_add virtio-net,id=xxx
-> tries to add virtio0, which is still in use...
So let's save the index we want to release before calling
device_unregister().
Commit c0077061e7ea accidentally inverted the logic for nouveau_acpi_edid,
causing it to only show a connector as connected when the edid could not
be retrieved with acpi.

ARM: OMAP2+: hwmod: call to _omap4_disable_module() should use the SoC-specific call
The hwmod code unconditionally calls _omap4_disable_module() on all
SoCs when a module doesn't enable correctly. This "worked" due to the
weak function omap4_cminst_wait_module_idle() in
arch/arm/mach-omap2/prcm.c, which was a no-op. But now those weak
functions are going away - they should not be used. So this patch
will now call the SoC-specific disable_module code, assuming it
exists.
Needs to be done before the weak function is removed, otherwise AM33xx

ARM: OMAP2+: PRCM: split and relocate the PRM/CM globals setup
Split omap2_set_globals_prcm() into PRM, CM, and PRCM_MPU variants, since
these are all separate IP blocks. This should make it easier to move the
PRM, CM, PRCM_MPU code into drivers/ in future patchsets.
At this point arch/arm/plat-omap/include/plat/prcm.h is empty; a
subsequent patch will remove it, and remove the #include from all the
files that #include it.

ARM: OMAP2+: CM/clock: convert _omap2_module_wait_ready() to use SoC-independent CM functions
Convert the OMAP clock code's _omap2_module_wait_ready() to use
SoC-independent CM functions that are provided by the CM code, rather
than using a deprecated function from mach-omap2/prcm.c.
This facilitates the future conversion of the CM code to a driver, and
also removes a mach-omap2/prcm.c user. mach-omap2/prcm.c will be removed
by a subsequent patch.
Some modules have IDLEST registers that aren't in the CM module, such
as the AM3517 IDLEST bits. So we also need a fallback function for
these non-CM odd cases. Create a temporary one in mach-omap2/clock.c,
intended to exist until the SCM drivers are ready.

ARM: OMAP2xxx: APLL/CM: convert to use omap2_cm_wait_module_ready()
Convert the OMAP2xxx APLL code to use omap2_cm_wait_module_ready(),
and move the low-level CM register manipulation functions to
mach-omap2/cm2xxx.c. The objectives here are to remove the dependency
on the deprecated omap2_cm_wait_idlest() function in
mach-omap2/prcm.c, so that code can be removed later; and move
low-level register accesses to the CM IP block to the CM code, which
will soon be moved into drivers/.

ARM: OMAP2+: board files: use SoC-specific system restart functions
Modify the board files to use the SoC-specific system restart
functions. At this point it's possible to remove omap_prcm_restart()
from mach-omap2/prcm.c.
While removing the prototypes for the now-unused restart functions, clean
up a few more obsolete prototypes in mach-omap2/clock.h.

Split omap_prcm_restart() from mach-omap2/prcm.c into SoC-specific
variants. These functions need to be able to save the reboot reason
into the scratchpad RAM. This implies a dependency on both the PRM
and SCM IP blocks, so they've been moved into their own file. This
will eventually call functions in the PRM and SCM drivers, once those
are created.
Vaibhav Hiremath <hvaibhav@ti.com> identified an unused prototype in
the first version of this patch - now removed. Tony Lindgren
<tony@atomide.com> noted a compile problem with some RMK Kconfigs;
resolved in this patch.

ARM: OMAP2xxx: clock: move virt_prcm_set code into clkt2xxx_virt_prcm_set.c
Collect all of the virt_prcm_set-specific clocktype code into
mach-omap2/clkt2xxx_virt_prcm_set.c. Remove its dependency on the
'sclk' and 'vclk' global variables. Those variables will be removed
by subsequent patches.
This is part of the process of cleaning up the OMAP2xxx clock code
and preparing for the removal of the omap_prcm_restart() function.

ARM: OMAP2xxx: clock: remove global 'dclk' variable
Remove the global 'dclk' variable, instead replacing it with a
variable local to the dpllcore clock type C file. This removes some
of the special-case code surrounding the OMAP2xxx clock init.
This patch is a prerequisite for the removal of the
omap_prcm_restart() code from arch/arm/mach-omap2/prcm.c. It also
cleans up some special-case OMAP2xxx clock code in the process.

Add SoC reset functions into the PRM code. These functions are based
on code from mach-omap2/prcm.c. They reset the SoC using the CORE DPLL
reset method (as opposed to one of the other two or three chip reset
methods).
Adding them here will facilitate their removal from
arch/arm/mach-omap2/prcm.c. (prcm.c is deprecated.)

watchdog: OMAP: use standard GETBOOTSTATUS interface; use platform_data fn ptr
Previously the OMAP watchdog driver used a non-standard way to report
the chip reset source via the GETBOOTSTATUS ioctl. This patch
converts the driver to use the standard WDIOF_* flags for this
purpose.
This patch may break existing userspace code that uses the existing
non-standard data format returned by the OMAP watchdog driver's
GETBOOTSTATUS ioctl. To fetch detailed reset source information,
userspace code will need to retrieve it directly from the CGRM or PRM
drivers when those are completed.
Previously, to fetch the reset source, the driver either read a
register outside the watchdog IP block (OMAP1), or called a function
exported directly from arch/arm/mach-omap2. Both approaches are
broken. This patch also converts the driver to use a platform_data
function pointer. This approach is temporary, and is due to the lack
of drivers for the OMAP16xx+ Clock Generation and Reset Management IP
block and the OMAP2+ Power and Reset Management IP block. Once
drivers are available for those IP blocks, the watchdog driver can be
converted to call exported functions from those drivers directly.
At that point, the platform_data function pointer can be removed.
In the short term, this patch is needed to allow the PRM code to be
removed from arch/arm/mach-omap2 (it is being moved to a driver).

that avoids a NULL pointer dereference in a DT-only boot, and integrates
a patch commit message fix from Felipe Balbi <balbi@ti.com>.

xfs: fix reading of wrapped log data
Commit 4439647 ("xfs: reset buffer pointers before freeing them") in
3.0-rc1 introduced a regression when recovering log buffers that
wrapped around the end of log. The second part of the log buffer at
the start of the physical log was being read into the header buffer
rather than the data buffer, and hence recovery was seeing garbage
in the data buffer when it got to the region of the log buffer that
was incorrectly read.

xfs: fix buffer shudown reference count mismatch
When we shut down the filesystem, we have to unpin and free all the
buffers currently active in the CIL. To do this we unpin and remove
them in one operation as a result of a failed iclogbuf write. For
buffers, we do this removal via a simultated IO completion of after
marking the buffer stale.
At the time we do this, we have two references to the buffer - the
active LRU reference and the buf log item. The LRU reference is
removed by marking the buffer stale, and the active CIL reference is
by the xfs_buf_iodone() callback that is run by
xfs_buf_do_callbacks() during ioend processing (via the bp->b_iodone
callback).
However, ioend processing requires one more reference - that of the
IO that it is completing. We don't have this reference, so we free
the buffer prematurely and use it after it is freed. For buffers
marked with XBF_ASYNC, this leads to assert failures in
xfs_buf_rele() on debug kernels because the b_hold count is zero.
Fix this by making sure we take the necessary IO reference before
starting IO completion processing on the stale buffer, and set the
XBF_ASYNC flag to ensure that IO completion processing removes all
the active references from the buffer to ensure it is fully torn
down.
