char: ipmi: ipmi_ssif: Replace timeval with timespec64
This patch replaces timeval with timespec64 as 32 bit 'struct timeval'
will not give current time beyond 2038.
The patch changes the code to use ktime_get_real_ts64() which returns
a 'struct timespec64' instead of do_gettimeofday() which returns a
'struct timeval'
This patch also alters the format string in pr_info() for now.tv_sec
to incorporate 'long long' on 32 bit architectures.

fpga: zynq-fpga: Fix issue with drvdata being overwritten.
Upon registering a FPGA Manager low level driver, FPGA Manager
core overwrites the platform drvdata pointer. Prior to this commit
zynq-fpga falsely relied on this pointer to still be valid at remove()
time.

fpga manager: ensure lifetime with of_fpga_mgr_get
Ensure device and driver lifetime from of_fpga_mgr_get() to
fpga_mgr_put().
* Don't put_device() in of_fpga_mgr_get, do it in fpga_mgr_put().
(still do put_device if there is an error).
* Do module_get on the low level driver.
* Don't need to module_get(THIS_MODULE) since we won't be allowed
to unload the fpga manager core without unloading low level
driver first.
* Remove unnedessary null check for node pointer.

distros. 'udevadm' seems to be the currently valid way to look up the
'udev' version.

ver_linux: loadkeys, look for numerical input, not field number
'loadkeys -h' no longer prints the version number across all distros,
despite the claim to do so in the manpage, which I found to be the case
on a Debian Linux system.
The proposed implementation utilises the output of 'loadkeys -V' to
acquire the version of both 'Kbd' and 'Console-tools'.

The current implementation relies on 'fdformat' to output the version of
'util-linux'. This does not seem to be reliable any longer, as 'fdformat'
does not seem to come preinstalled in all ditros these days.
The proposed implementation uses 'mount' to output both the version
of 'util-linux' and 'mount' proper, as 'mount' is also a part of the
'util-linux' package.

This change adds functionality to operate on reserved SRAM partitions
described in device tree file. Two partition properties are added,
"pool" and "export", the first one allows to share a specific partition
for usage by a kernel consumer in the same manner as it is done for
the whole SRAM device, and "export" property provides access to some
SRAM area from userspace over sysfs interface. Practically it is
possible to specify both properties for an SRAM partition, however
simultaneous access from a kernel consumer and from userspace is not
serialized, but still the combination may be useful for debugging
purpose.
The change opens the following scenarios of SRAM usage:
* updates in a particular SRAM area specified by offset and size are
done by bootloader, then this information is utilized by the kernel,
* a particular SRAM area is rw accessed from userspace, the stored
data is persistent on soft reboots,
* a device driver secures SRAM area for its purposes,
* etc.
Note, strictly speaking the added optional properties describe policy
of SRAM usage, rather than hardware, but here the policy mostly
resembles flash partitions in devicetree, which is undoubtedly
a very popular option but it does not describe hardware.

Long messages are read in chunks, to prevent trashing runtime pm between
the reading of the chunks we call pm_runtime_mark_last_busy() on
non-final chunk message as the next chunk of the same message will be
received immediately in the next interrupt with high probablity.

misc: mic: fix memory leak
In scif_node_connect() we were returning if the initialization of p2p_ji
fails. But at that time p2p_ij has already been initialized and
resources allocated for it. And since p2p_ij is not added to the list
till now so we will have a leak.
Lets deinitialize and release the resources connected to p2p_ij.
STM policy handling is basically configfs, I honestly don't know how we
ended up without a Kconfig dependency, but thanks to randconfig testing,
it's now caught.

"What happens is that 766c4cbfacd8 got the things subtly wrong.
We used to treat d_is_negative() after lookup_fast() as "fall with
ENOENT". That was wrong - checking ->d_flags outside of ->d_seq
protection is unreliable and failing with hard error on what should've
fallen back to non-RCU pathname resolution is a bug.
Unfortunately, we'd pulled the test too far up and ran afoul of
another kind of staleness. The dentry might have been absolutely
stable from the RCU point of view (and we might be on UP, etc), but
stale from the remote fs point of view. If ->d_revalidate() returns
"it's actually stale", dentry gets thrown away and the original code
wouldn't even have looked at its ->d_flags.
What we need is to check ->d_flags where 766c4cbfacd8 does (prior to
->d_seq validation) but only use the result in cases where we do not
discard this dentry outright"

- DM cache fix for a NULL pointer seen while switching from the
"cleaner" cache policy.
Two fixes for regressions introduced during the 4.3 merge:
- request-based DM error propagation regressed due to incorrect
changes introduced when adding the bi_error field to bio.
- DM snapshot fix to only support snapshots that overflow if the
client (e.g. lvm2) is prepared to deal with the associated
snapshot status interface change"

dm snapshot: add new persistent store option to support overflow
Commit 76c44f6d80 introduced the possibly for "Overflow" to be reported
by the snapshot device's status. Older userspace (e.g. lvm2) does not
handle the "Overflow" status response.
Fix this incompatibility by requiring newer userspace code, that can
cope with "Overflow", request the persistent store with overflow support
by using "PO" (Persistent with Overflow) for the snapshot store type.

As we're about to remove the of_node field from the irqdomain

dm cache: fix NULL pointer when switching from cleaner policy
The cleaner policy doesn't make use of the per cache block hint space in
the metadata (unlike the other policies). When switching from the
cleaner policy to mq or smq a NULL pointer crash (in dm_tm_new_block)
was observed. The crash was caused by bugs in dm-cache-metadata.c
when trying to skip creation of the hint btree.
The minimal fix is to change hint size for the cleaner policy to 4 bytes
(only hint size supported).

crash in md-raid1 and md-raid10 due to incorrect list manipulation
The commit 55ce74d4bfe1b9444436264c637f39a152d1e5ac (md/raid1: ensure
device failure recorded before write request returns) is causing crash in
the LVM2 testsuite test shell/lvchange-raid.sh. For me the crash is 100%
reproducible.
The reason for the crash is that the newly added code in raid1d moves the
list from conf->bio_end_io_list to tmp, then tests if tmp is non-empty and
then incorrectly pops the bio from conf->bio_end_io_list (which is empty
because the list was alrady moved).
cpufreq: prevent lockup on reading scaling_available_frequencies
When scaling_available_frequencies is read on an offlined cpu, then
either lockup or junk values are displayed. This is caused by
freed freq_table, which policy is using.

cpufreq: acpi_cpufreq: prevent crash on reading freqdomain_cpus
When freqdomain_cpus attribute is read from an offlined cpu, it will
cause crash. This change prevents calling cpufreq_show_cpus when
policy driver_data is NULL.
mmc: sdhci-of-at91: use SDHCI_QUIRK2_NEED_DELAY_AFTER_INT_CLK_RST quirk
The Atmel sdhci device needs the
SDHCI_QUIRK2_NEED_DELAY_AFTER_INT_CLK_RST quirk. Without it, the
internal clock could never stabilised when changing the sd clock
frequency.
The Atmel sdhci device needs a new quirk. sdhci_set_clock set the Clock
Control Register to 0 before computing the new value and writing it.
It disables the internal clock which causes a reset mecanism. If we
write the new value before this reset mecanism is done, it will prevent
the stabilisation of the internal clock, so a delay is needed. This
delay is about 2-3 cycles of the base clock. To be safe, a 1 ms delay is
used.

mmc: sdhci-pxav3: disable clock inversion for HS MMC cards
According to 'FE-2946959' erratum the clock inversion option is
needed to support slow frequencies when the card input hold time
requirement is high. This setting is not required for high speed
MMC and might cause timing violation.

mmc: sdhci-pxav3: remove broken clock base quirk for Armada 38x sdhci driver
shci-pxav3 driver is enabling by default the
SDHCI_QUIRK_CAP_CLOCK_BASE_BROKEN quirk. However this quirk is not
required for Armada 38x and leads to wrong clock setting in the divider.

mmc: host: omap_hsmmc: Fix MMC for omap3 legacy booting
Starting with commit 7d607f917008 ("mmc: host: omap_hsmmc: use
devm_regulator_get_optional() for vmmc") MMC on omap3 stopped working
for legacy booting.
This is because legacy booting sets up some of the resource in the
platform init code, and for optional regulators always seem to
return -EPROBE_DEFER for the legacy booting.
Let's fix the issue by checking for device tree based booting for
now. Then when omap3 boots in device tree only mode, this patch
can be just reverted.
