From 6f196ee80144e27a5d80a933003b36a6763ce257 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Mel Gorman Date: Wed, 19 Jun 2013 10:06:00 +1000 Subject: [PATCH] mm: vmscan: check if kswapd should writepage once per pgdat scan Currently kswapd checks if it should start writepage as it shrinks each zone without taking into consideration if the zone is balanced or not. This is not wrong as such but it does not make much sense either. This patch checks once per pgdat scan if kswapd should be writing pages.
